Michael Parker, a cardiac physiologist from Southampton, visited the Cementing Futures projects while visiting Dhaka, Bangladesh. Michael raised much appreciated funds for us by running a Marathon in the searing heat in Dhaka which was organised for him by students from the University of Dhaka.  He is shown here with his partner, Nadine, Professor Suraiya Siddiquy and teachers. Professor Siddiquy commented on how valuable it was for the children to meet and talk with foreigners.
